Velvet Green
Spokane, Washington,
United States
Have you heard the call? If you are like me... you are thinking about, having dreams about, and generally feeling the energies of the coming changes.
I am looking to meet others in the Spokane and surrounding areas who are interested in purchasing rural land in the Spring of 2011, for purposes of building a small eco-village. We would be completely off-grid with mainly solar-powered strawbale cottages, home-schooling our children, growing as much of our food as possible, reducing/reusing/recycling nearly everything. I am interested in forming a non-profit organization around this village with the mission being: to donate yearly a certain amount of our homegrown food to low-income families within the city limits...and to help urban people start organic gardens in their own backyards. Let's feed people!
It is time to return to our tribal roots, my friends. I'm looking to start this community with like-minded individuals who want to heal the earth, retreat from modern society, become self-sufficient, develop close family ties and nurture thier personal spiritual paths.
Do you value integrity, teamwork, peace, fairness, creativity, humility, gratefulness and all the qualities of the simple life? It will be hard yet rewarding work! And when the work is done for the day, we can all play like little kids together....
Are you someone with homesteading skills or the willingness and commitment to learn them? I hope to be incorporated by the end of winter 2010/2011 and begin looking for land in the Spring, as well as doing fundraising in the Spokane community.
If you are reading this in the Spirit of Love, email me for further details and discussion.
Love & Light to you.
