Ol' Wondermoth
Buffalo, New York,
United States
Nickel City currently represents two coop houses in downtown Buffalo just off the Allentown strip.
The first of the Nickel City Coops in Buffalo NY, Ol' Wondermoth, at 208 North Street (corner of busy Elmwood Ave and North Street, Ol' Wondermoth is an anagram of North/Elmwood), is still going strong almost 10 years after we took ownership!
Ol' Wondermoth was formerly known as the Granger Mansion and, like many beautiful big buildings in Buffalo, sat empty because the millionaires that used to live in the city long ago moved out and few today have the money to maintain downtown mansions independently.
Together, though, and with our partnership with NASCO, WE CAN!
If you are looking for coop housing at a busy location, or would just like to visit, please contact us by visiting our website at http://nickelcitycoop.org/
