Namaste
Kansas City, Missouri,
United States
Working on forming a community housing in Either Kansas City or Florida. Very much in the planning stages and wanting input from interested people. We will eventually be looking for a large house preferably in the country. Yes there is some room for lots of input. I would like a place that will focus on living inexpensively so that we can all have more of our money to pursue the fun things in life.
There will be no religious requirements. Everyone is welcome to join, and pursue their own beliefs. Of course everyone must be respectful of other's beliefs.
No asset sharing requirement. Rooms will be rented and utilities split. The goal is to save expenses, and not for anyone to "get rich".
If possible I would like to find a property that will be the most conducive to small or single parent families. It would even be good if homeschooling were considered.
In short, it would be great to get input into what would be important to you. This and the website will be updated frequently.
Although family friendly, please remember that parents are ultimately to take care of their kids.

My son and I are in the process of purchasing a piece of property that has a home that can accomodate approximately 8-10 people, 12 acres in a community on the outskirts of Kansas City. Would very much be interested in hearing what you are thinking about and if this sounds like something you that would work with what you have in mind. He and I are both involved and appreciate living off-the grid. We have a garden, chickens and live very economically. Please let me know what other information we can provide.
