Peacefull Village
Southern Ontario nearish Guelph but WILD--Hockley Valley?, Ontario, Ontario,
Canada
(Land undecided yet--but north of Guelph in countryside would be ideal!)
This eco-spiritual village will be a place for spiritual seekers who are vegetarians and Nature lovers wishing to live lightly together with our wild neighbours in joy with our Mother...Earth. It will be a place of kindness, peace, openness and higher communication with all Beings on Earth and beyond.
We will be grounded by building ourselves healthy shelters such as Light-clay, Cob, Strawbale, Earthship, etcetera, as well as practising Earth respectful farming techniques working around and with the local plants, trees, wildlife, with the guidance of our local Nature Beings/Fairies/Devas. We will steward this wild land we ask to live on with Permaculture practices such as re-using our grey and brown water, collecting rainwater in cisterns, composting our waste, creating Solar and Wind power, and so on. We will preserve some of this land for our love of Spirit in Nature--leaving this part wild and free--for her wild beings to enjoy in peace.
We will practice healthy social skills to maintain good communications between us humans for better enjoying each other and for working out conflicts in peaceful win-win ways such as Non-violent communication or other helpful methods. We can have regular opportunities to thoroughly uncover and enjoy our authentic selves through dancing, drumming, art and music creating, Sweat lodges, Vision Quests, and various other shamanic and healing practices from around the World. We will have an abundance of healers right on our village to help us with our journeys! We can also regularly pray and meditate together to be in higher awareness in our lives.
We can create together a healing/retreat center/education place for visitors/us to study and learn and share various eco, musical, art and spiritual ways such as: wild food foraging, photography, hiking, nature study (with respect to wildlife habitat), Qi gong, Yoga, ecstatic dance, creative music making, holistic modalities for good health...
We can have our own private kitchens but we can also share many tasty communal meals together.
We can share drum circles, music healing circles, jams and performances in our village and with the public. For the latter we could offer snacks or a meal from our village cafe! Even a B&B maybe for weekend classes!
These are my hopes and dreams..possibilities. Let's meet and embrace your ideas too! Let's create a new home that is a sanctuary for ourselves, Mama

Yes
(Depends on the situation and person.)
Labor Contribution:
(Those who are too sick or elderly do not have to contribute labor though.)

No Answer
(This is to be decided. It doesn't make sense to me except to share money to buy land together and for other basics like pond digging or well digging.)
Regular Fees:
No Answer
(Only if there is some money needed regularly for paper work or for someone who need to be paid for managing maybe on the Village. Has to be discussed and done with fairness and sensibility.)

Dietary Choice or Restrictions:
There are some dietary restrictions
(We would be vegetarians but would raise happy chickens, bees and sheep (for their wool only!) with deep respect, kindness and thanks and those with health challenges who must eat animal products while they heal would purchase these off the village.)
Dietary Practice:
Primarily vegetarian
(As above, I would like us all to be vegetarian or better vegan , but with those with serious health challenges I respect that animal products might be chosen temporarily for their healing.)
