 Introducing: The Rainbow Hostel
The Rainbow Hostel is pleased to announce the creation of The Rainbow Village Academy of Consciousness. The Academy serves as school for community building and self awareness. The experience is intended to nourish our personal growth and promote unity with one another.
At The Rainbow Hostel we integrate many techniques used in successful community building, by many proven intentional communities, past and present. At the Rainbow Hostel, we are offering our hostel guests an opportunity to participate in personal growth, while interacting in real life, in group supported settings.
At The Rainbow Hostel, we
understand that our personal experiences in the external world, are merely a reflection of the state of our internal, (sub)conscious minds. By taking 100% responsibility for the thoughts one projects into the external reality, we allow ourselves to experience harmony with oneself, growth, and ultimately co-creation with others.
We ask those who gather here to take full responsibility for the experience co-created with one another, and not place blame on the catalysts provided externally for the discomfort dwelling within.
The time of the lone wolf is over.
Gather yourselves!
Banish the word “struggle” from your attitude and your vocabulary.
All that you do now must be done in a sacred manner
And in celebration.
We are the ones we’ve been waiting for . . .
-The Elders, Hopi Nation, Oraibi, Arizona -
There is no Guru here. We all serve as gurus providing lessons for one another as we grow. We understand that a transformation of human consciousness will not be achieved by following a leader. We understand the need for each and every one of us to take personal responsibility for the advancement of awareness in being part of an authentic evolution in total human consciousness.
Basic Info:
The Rainbow Hostel offers hospitality in Golfito , Costa Rica. Golfito is located in the southern pacific zone of Costa Rica adjacent to the Osa Peninsula. The Hostel is located on a remote Peninsula in proximity to the small city of Golfito. We are only assessable by boat for a truly unique and peaceful, escape from Babylon.
We are an ecovillage learning center practicing and offering those interested a cultural and social sustainability curriculum and experience that includes:
• A Course in Miracles,
• Nonviolent Communication,
• Conflict Resolution,
• Consensus Building ,
• Inspirational Speakers, Teachers,
• Talking Circles.
We feature movie nights with many inspirational teachers followed by discussion groups. We offer yoga, group meditations, and much more as the curriculum advances.
The Rainbow Hostel aligns with the inspiration, simplicity and success of Rainbow Gatherings. Rainbow Gatherings are remarkably effective as a temporary intentional community. The Rainbow Hostel gatherings allow us to engage one another in experiential learning and transformation that is both personal and interpersonal.
Welcome Home!!
Intentional Community Portal
Costa Rica is unique in Latin America for its history as a beacon for those interested in intentional community and sustainable living alternatives. Over our years here we have developed contacts with over 40 such projects and have a list of over 60. A significant number of these projects were established more than 10 years ago. We have a continuing interest in all of these activities and network with them as a source of learning for our own efforts. We are ready to introduce those coming to Costa Rica with this intention to this history and these projects.
