We’re not a fanatical religious cult or anti government militia group, we’re just a cooperative community frustrated at the loss of freedom in America. We’re tired of government control and ridiculous taxes continuing unabated and choose to live in communities where our rights are respected, and people exercise responsibility for themselves and in their dealings with each other. Gypsy Heart began in the late nineties with the online community Conscious Evolution and became recognized as an ecclesiastical order in 2008. Although Gypsy Heart itself hasn't been around that long, the spirit, philosophy and traditions of Gypsy Heart are centuries old. Our community is a place of discussion, merriment and freedom, where individuals can appreciate the finer things in life while not forgetting the smaller ones. We are advocates of individual and religious freedom and welcome people from all traditions, as well as none at all, young and old, men and women, certain and skeptical, confused and enlightened. A movement striving to provide a universal forum of diversity, bringing about openness to change by becoming agents of spiritual and intellectual ferment.
We follow a somewhat anarchic approach to everyday life and the barriers that come between us and our dreams choosing rather to ignore much of the economic and social bars that define how people should perceive themselves. Each of us follows a different path in our lives, yet we all share a common humanity and stand together on certain points such as rejection of hierarchical authority structures and advocacy of freedom of conscience. Our goal is to enlarge our wisdom and our scope of action, to constantly radiate attitudes of charity, kindness, love and compassion. The more this spirit spreads, the more it will awaken human consciousness to something greater than we’ve known in turn affecting positive change in our community and greater society.
To find balance in our world though, we must first find balance in ourselves and for most of us the demands of work and basic survival are often at odds with the things we cherish most. The one way we can change the direction of the world is to take control of our own lives, setting an intention that fosters and empowers the things we care about, which in turn give us strength, clarity and purpose. | |
