We are looking at starting an eco-tribe of like minded members. We want to grow, fish, and hunt our food. We want to build our homes from the land to be a part of the land(straw bale houses, log cabins, stone house, and any nature supplies). I have been reading and working with solar panels and would like to use these as well as wind and rain collection. We are wanting to grow organic gardens and hunt turkey, deer, rabbit, or anything else we can use as food. Looking at raising our own animals such as pigs, cows, and chickens. All of this is nature based to give thanks to the spirits for their life and for ours.
We have begun to look for land in Ark., Ok., and surrounding areas. We have land in Ark. and buying a home in TX. Our plan is to sell our home in 4 to 5 yrs and use the money to buy the land and start the 1st buildings.
Ideas: Holding native American teachings, spirit walks, canoe rental, selling hides and crafts, holding a farmers market every weekend, and many more ideas to make our tribe a small bit of money to live.
Right now we are looking for someone with the same ideas and have the same thinking to help build this dream!
