PachaMama
Nicoya, Guanacaste,
Costa Rica
(PachaMama is located 25 minutes north of Nosara)
PachaMama was established in 1999 by spiritual teacher and visionary Tyohar. The internal work in PachaMama focuses on meditation and points to the silence within.
Year round therapy, yoga, cleanse and other groups take place in PachaMama. These are led by house therapists as well as guest therapists.
Visitors enjoy a variety of accommodation, from simple casitas to bungalows and houses. Some visitors choose to camp in tents and enjoy even greater proximity to the wild nature and the forest in which PachaMama dwells.
This community is home to about 75 residents who gathered from all over the world to walk the same path of inner growth and chose an alternative lifestyle.
The children of PachaMama attend the village's school and kindergarten, under the care of a team made of professional teachers and volunteer teachers.
In the past 10 years thousands of visitors passed through the gates of PachaMama and through life changing experiences. We have touched their hearts with silence, love, music and celebration.
