Herb Farm Christian Community
Missouri...OR, KY, ME,
United States
We are seeking out others who want to live and work together in a farm community to help grow medicinal herbs and healthy whole organic foods, raise free range livestock. We hope to love one another according to the scriptures. We can do this through Christ Jesus so that we might glorify the Lord during these economic hard times and bring praise to His name. We will learn how to live off the land from what the Lord has given us in His wonderful creation with hard work for utilizing these resources in a renewable and sustainable manner to grow wholesome, healthy foods, using the Lord's healing herbal resources He's given us for our health and well-being. The Lord has created herbs for our healing: Ezekiel 47:12 "Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing. Rev. 22:2
" ...down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations."
This will require people who have patience to work together in a joyful manner learning to practice the fruits of the Holy Spirit, with similar background of the bible, a strong faith, righteous godly living, loving God and each other, being seekers of the truth. Additional housing will be built as needed. The farm hopefully can have a large wooded area for wild-crafting herbs like ginseng, goldenseal, elderberry, comfrey, and many others. We are seeking out good land for keeping a small pasture, growing vegetables, grains, and various herbs and fruit. Ideally there would be a wooded area with trails through-out and an area in a safe and more remote location. While we would like to take on every person who is interested we are currently limited to those who can handle rigorous work of farming, maintaining a homestead and growing our own food and herbs. Not everyone is called to work in the fields, but everyone should be in good physical shape and interested in hard work so that together we can accomplish our tasks of a successful community. We look forward to hearing from you and may God bless you!
