 Vedrica Forest Gardens
Fresh, wholesome food is key to a healthy life. Clean air and water, healthy soil, the sound of birds and water flowing all help to create harmony in relationship with the body, mind and spirit. We are creating a life filled with these treasures at Vedrica Forest Gardens in Central Idaho.
Vedrica Forest Gardens is a Ringing Cedars Series inspired settlement. We envision co-creating a life that brings health and healing to ourselves, our families, the plants and animals, the water, the soil, the air and the earth.
We are aiming at having 10-12 families, at this time we have four so we are looking for 6-8 more good people/families sharing our views, goals, and values.
We will grow fruit and nut trees, grape vines, berries, annual gardens and flowers. Our families will have wild forested areas, a pond and a family home. These Spaces of Love will constitute one third of the 270 acres of Vedrica Forest Gardens.
One third of the land will be shared in community for the purpose of creating cottage industries to support the settlement. Other common areas will be strategically placed meditation gazebos with breath taking views of the Lolo Valley, beautiful glades for gathering and celebrating, sandy beaches at the edge of the creek for summer picnics and play.
One third of the land will be placed in a conservation easement to preserve the 100+ year old Western Red Cedar trees and pristine banks of Lolo Creek.
We are co-creating the vision, the settlement and life at Vedrica Forest Gardens. We use our hearts and contemplation in nature to guide our actions. We look for 100% agreement among the members when making settlement decisions. We aspire to generate our own energy, grow our own food, create our own “energy bank” and share our abundance with the surrounding community.
We welcome guests and visitors, applicants and new members. Go to our blog/website at www.vedrica.org for photos and much more information about out settlement.
Blessings, The Vedrica Family
