Mount Eden Ecovillage
Washington, New Jersey,
United States
our land
The 189-acre Mount Eden property is located on the top of a bucolic hill in Warren County, NJ, but it is by no means remote or inaccessible. It has good proximity to nearby Washington Township and is close to Interstate highways 78, 80, and 287 (so travel time is only about an hour to Newark Airport, the NJ Turnpike, and the Holland Tunnel into New York City).
Initial plans are to build 35 very green residences and an organic farm. In addition, there is room on the land for recreational facilities, an existing retreat center, and future expansion.
