I have lived here for 7 years, and I highly recommend the Cambridge Zen Center as a place to deepen one's meditation practice and learn to get along with all sorts of different people. Our founding teacher, Zen Master Seung Sahn, taught that the fastest way to change our karma and become compassionate beings is by practicing and living together. A strong and regular meditation practice is required here. Wake-up and practice together begins at 5:45 every morning, and we have monthly intensive retreats of 2-3 days. Our community is thriving and newcomers are always welcome!
