Earth-Sky Tribe
(There is not yetland or a location: anyone who is interested that has land , please contact me!)
my sister and I
It seems to me that the way everything is going with our society, people are living separate, lonely lives in which basic survival skills are not implemented or known. We have divorced nature, contaminated our own food and pushed each other away. I want to start a community of peaceful people who want to participate in things like: Organic gardening, hunting/fishing, group celebrations, festivals and peace-music ceremonies, helping me look for land, light-footprint house building, all decision making, musical collaboration, camp fires, group meals, trading as often as possible; using money as little as possible, teaching others what you know, learning, drum circles, a brother/sisterhood shared among community. I would also like to embrace some shamanic practices as well as those associated with holistic healing. Any ceremonies/festivals/celebrations will not be held for any religious reason, only to strengthen ourselves, the earth; make our bond stronger. When I envision all of this, I think of it as something similar to that of a peaceful Indian tribe. All we need is land and building materials and i will be working on finding that all this spring/summer/fall. There are about 15 of us so far and I know there will be more because I am so inspired to do this that I believe it is important. We will live lightly upon, and respect the land. Participants wanted; i hope that land will be found and able to be lived on some time in the next year. Anyone who has land somewhere it doesn't snow that wants to take part in this, please email me at stonerchick333@yahoo.com! Many more updates will be in my myspace blog, i will be on a journey this summer to find the earth-shy tribe land. No one will pay any rent, land tax fees or any other such will be divided evenly among those who are not disabled. I plan to also vend jewelry as well as clothes i make (which is my current profession) to make some money for outside things we can't grow. Anyone else who has skills may be so inclined to do the same.It is possible with love as we all evolve together as one.
Thank you for reading
