Sandywoods Farm
Tiverton, Rhode Island,
United States
Sandywoods Farm is a unique, environmentally friendly, arts and agricultural community located in Tiverton, Rhode Island. Clustered around a working farm and preserved open space, this residential community supports sustainable agricultural practices, encourages innovative artistic expression, promotes economic vitality, offers educational opportunities, and builds on a common vision.
50 clustered rental cottages and 22 single-family buildable homesites are priced to accommodate various income levels.
Additional facilities and community activities contribute to the social, economic, and educational well-being of residents and non-residents alike. Residents began moving to Sandywoods in the late summer of 2010. We have already established an art gallery cooperative and a community garden cooperative. We have also planted a fruit orchard with help from the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation. Future plans include communal art studios, an incubator kitchen, and a farm stand. The Sandywoods Center for the Arts is available for a wide range of performing arts events. Please visit our website for more information, or e-mail info@sandywoodsfarm.org.
