this is what it could look like...
Casadore is not an established community yet. In the early-mid 2010's we plan to buy (or rent) a house in the East Hastings area of Vancouver, B.C. We are still looking for people who would be interested in helping us form this community. We hope to have about 6-8 people all commit to buying a home in a low-income neighbourhood where we can serve the needy and serve God. The community of people that have formed the idea of Casadore have been influenced by books like Shane Claiborne's "The Irresistible Revolution" and Julie Clawson's "Everyday Justice"; Until Casadore if completely formed, we try to live out Gods justice in small ways such as making our own clothes, buying local and organic food, serving the homeless and needy in our own city, and trying to be a reflection of Jesus in places like our jobs, homes, and schools. Until we have a place to call home for Casadore, we cannot accept visitors, but if you would like more information about Casadore, or other communities in the area, feel free to contact us.
