| Our intention is to gather the believers who truly want to be disciples of the Everlasting Father, Jesus Christ. The believers will continue to dwell at their present location or somehow move closer to one another, and time will determine whether or not we as a local church are able to commune together on some particular parcel of land.
For us to get along we must be of the same mind and willing to be of the same mind. We must first and foremost agree on who Jesus Christ is, he being God manifest in the flesh, and just what he did and why. We must also agree on what we call the holy scriptures in the English language. With so many English translations all claiming to be true, yet all saying something different, it's logical that the believers should at least choose one and use it alone to avoid confusion. We stick with the first completed English translation known as the 1611 English Bible.
Though there is so much to learn, and each believer is growing at their own rate, there are basic, fundamental doctrines which are important despite what others say, and we must be in agreement. The most important doctrine for us to believe and obey is to simply love the Lord our God. If we do that then we will surely love our neighbor, for if we don't love our neighbor then we really don't love God. If we truly love God then we will obey him and him alone.
We do not agree with the heretical teaching that to obey God we must obey man and his grievous commandments, be this some pope and his dogmas, or be this some abstract "government" (the Protestant/Puritan so-called vicar of Christ on earth) and its millions of ultimately unknowable "laws" (dogmas). Such false teaching hinders the gospel message and one's walk with Christ.
So-called Government or the State is simply antichrist and therefore incompatible with the kingdom of heaven. Statism is nothing but a Heathen religion of violence. It exists because the Heathen people want it to, as they reject King Jesus and his Law, the true Law of the Land, and set up their own so-called laws which are impossible to obey. God's people are not to destroy the established religion nor submit to its dogmas, but to be a witness to all who comprise it (which includes "we the people" and their elite priesthood, the "lawmakers").
We therefore believe in the basic, fundamental doctrine of nonviolence, so we don't go around killing people or threatening to kill people. | |
