Akya
Tropics
Akya is a group of people (50-100 people) departing from the Modern/Commercial world and choosing to live a different life style.
This would be a purist style society; clean, fresh, organic, handmade and homemade food, items, & clothing.
Growing and building everything ourselves, from our beach huts & farms to our furniture and even our own water powered electricity plant.
Enjoying the beach, the sun and everything the planet has to offer us.
Akya:
Picture this; you wake up from the sun shining through the window of your beach hut to your loved one offering you some breakfast. As you rise you place your feet on the cool sand that feels amazing on these hot days. You take a look at everything around you and feel a sense of pride for all the work you have put in to create what you have. You feel great honor to know you belong to something so amazing a different. You spend a few hours each day doing some necessary chores that keep our island running smooth and effective. After that, it's down to the beach where we all meet for lunch. Spend the rest of the day playing volley ball, swimming, and fishing. Playing music, relaxing around a bonfire drinking some coconut or mango rum. Sharing stories, listening to someone playing guitar, gazing at the fire and the ocean... you get this amazing feeling of accomplishment, unity, peace. Your mind is clear, you feel more amazing then you ever have in your life, in-tune with yourself, your surroundings, the world, the whole universe. Welcome to Akya (A - meaning 'Singular', Kya - meaning 'Group/Family')
