 is an settlement that aims to establish sustainable appropriated patterns for Amazonian reality, what includes planning, promotion and executing environmental conservancy proceedings based in natural, cultural, historic, ethical and paisagistic resources preservation directed to assure natural processes integrity, environmental equilibrium and social welfare.
Permaculture Project is inspired in ABRA144 Ecovillage objectives and targets. Empirical development, participative diffusion and encouragement by transition technologies, environmental and adequate low-impact alternatives in fields as energy, agriculture, architecture, habitation, constructive systems, transportation vehicles, communication, potable and gray water treatment, recycling and others.
Permaculture targets food production based in natural systems observance, in a aggregation of legacy wisdom contained in ancestral productive systems and modern scientific and technological knowledge. The term "Permaculture" derivate from words "Permanent" and "Culture" aggregation, and also from the concept of "Permanent Culture", therefore cultural values cannot be sustainable without and sustainable basis and land use ethics. However Permaculture do not handle with these elements only, but mainly in relationship that should be acquired by the form we are placed and modifying the land we are settled.
Methodology is "Learn-by-doing" based, reason by most of time should be spended in practical proficiencies approaching, in an demonstrative module inspired ABRA144 Referential Permaculture Unit. Mainly developed themes embraces: Permaculture Introduction, Eco-building, Phito-formulae, Finances, Renewable Energetic Systems, Ecological Pasture, Cooperative Social System, Water Systems, Planning and Practice.

Visitor Process: Visitor Process: Lodging Conditions: Volunteer´s house is now been shared by 2 residents, responsible by the project, and is nearly full-opened, with 2 showers, wash basin, wood stove and oven, bath and a water fountain. Accommodation takes place in sleeping nets, also there is enough room disposing your own tent, if you wish more privacy. Recommended luggage: towel and bath clothes, rubber boots and slippers. Considering that this is a place directed to environmental preservation activity, please avoid to bring products that generates non-decomposable waste; if you bring them, you must be disposed to take them back with you. Nourishment: Provided meal is based on fresh fruits and vegetables, complemented with fish and country chicken. We do not eat red meat. Vegetarian food option. Permanency time: normally 2 weeks. For longer periods, 4 weeks limited, in dependence from disposable place.
