Ant Hill Collective!
San Diego, California,
United States
At this time, the Ant Hill Collective is at capacity and has no room for other residents but welcomes the community to join us for events, tours and workshops.
The Ant Hill Collective is an egaltarian housing community of seven individuals renting two houses on the same lot in the Historic Barrio District of San Diego. Residents hold a shared vision and commitment to racial, social and economic justice, agroecology, critical thought, direct action, mutual aid, and affordable housing.
Collective living is sharing and challenging ourselves to grow and learn. As residents, we share chores, including shopping, cooking and working in the garden. We also meet weekly, make decisions on a consensus basis and we maintain vegetarian kitchens.
We are working to create not only a communal living situation but a community space for events, as well as programming and resources for our neighbors and the community at-large.
