Porcher Inlet BC 599 acres
I own 599 acres of land in Porcher Inlet on Porcher Island in British Columbia. The property was logged in the early 90's and now has mostly red alder coming up with a vengeance. If you research Red Alder you will discover that this property has the potential to produce in access of $2,000,000 yearly for ever! It might take a few years to reach that level but the trees will soon be mature enough to provide a living for several families. The property has a salmon stream, roads, and a mile of beach front. The bay is loaded with sea food (salmon, cod, halibut, shrimp, clams etc)and I am the only property owner in the entire bay. We will have a private community! Massive hydro-electric possibilities up the beach from my place (bay entrance and lagoon entrance) I'm looking for mellow folk that want to start a village with me. If you want to live year round and you aren't Canadian, you'll need to make a substantial investment to pull it off. If you just want to build a cabin and live and work part time, that can be arranged at a very affordable level, if you are willing to be part of the tree business with me. If you're a Canadian and you want to live off the land with a bunch of decent folk this might be the place you seek. No criminals, drug addicts, religious fanatics or war mongers please.
Basically I will allow you to build a cabin or house on my property and have a life time lease. There will be restrictions and rules that apply including some kind of a monetary arrangement that is very easy for all, provided you are willing to work. Sorry i haven't worked out the details yet. Basically i want to live off the land but i like to have friends around and enough people to create something really special. If you are like me and you believe the the dog doo is about to hit the fan in America, i would love to hear from you. Please send a small essay describing yourself your family and your skills. I love farmers but my skill is commercial fishing. I also love holistic or healthy folk...and prefer non smokers
Thanks, Paul
