 We are a senior (age 55 or older) housing cooperative at 2550 Dana Street, Berkeley, California.
Our building has 60 units, ranging in size from studios to two-bedroom apartments. Common areas include a library, dining room, kitchen, lounge, laundry room, underground garage, and patio.
The coop has an elected board of directors, professional managers, and specialized committees. Residents participate in a variety of shared cultural and social activities, including gardening, movie screenings, music performances, and discussion groups.
The 9-story reinforced-concrete building was completed in 1962.
Legally, we are a corporation organized under the California Consumer Cooperative Corporation Law.
