Shri Apurvada Paridhi is a Village Development project of R-KaVACA - The Radha Krishna Varnashram Apostolic Cultural Association. Shri Apurvada Paridhi is an unincorporated peaceable assembly of the people for the establishment of religious society and culture. The objective of Shri Apurvada Paridhi is to build a rural community of 28 -32 individuals.
The residents of Shri Apurvada Paridhi are individuals who:
1 Have become frustrated by current conditions in society, such as corrupt and incompetent government, over taxation, wasteful spending, unsatisfying work, high cost of living, environmental pollution, rising crime, and much more.
2 Have realized that there is a spiritual dimension in life that is very difficult to pursue in a society based primarily on intense and ruthless competition for money and ever increasing quantities of material possessions and activity.
3 Have come to feel like fish out of water and want to establish a way of life that is more like the ocean than dry land.
As such, their desire is to:
1 Live in a rural, semi-communal arrangement with shared cooking, bathing and general maintenance.
2 Engage in organic gardening and cottage industry.
3 Undertake community based self employment.
4 Educate children in community home school.
5 Experiment with cob/wattle & daub construction.
6 Practice the Chaitanya Vaishnava religion and spiritual lifestyle.
7 Undertake recruitment of new members.
Basic guiding principles are:
1 Spiritual practice is an essential feature of community life.
2 Decentralization and Local Self Reliance.
3 Semi Communal Tribal lifestyle.
4 Sustainable energy systems based on human and draft animal power.
5 Gradual curtailment of non renewable imports.
The over arching ideology is:
1 The current global technological society is unsuitable for Transcendental Realization and, to experience genuine peace and happiness, an alternative spiritual social system is essential.
2 Stored Energy Depletion will cause a global economic crash into pre-industrial status within the next 100 years. Preparations must begin now, before social unrest makes it very difficult to establish a viable alternative.
