Dandelion Village is a forming Eco-village project in Bloomington Indiana. We now own 2.23 acres and intend on constructing a Cooperative house for 12 to 15 people in addition to 9 smaller houses. Currently we are committing to building two small houses in 2013; however, we are open to others building next year as well.

Dandelion Village will be an intentional community of individuals and families who dedicate their unique talents, gifts, and aspirations toward a common Vision of Creativity, Community, Sustainability, Education, and Economic Freedom. We hope to promote sustainable living and community by eating, living, gardening, creating, learning, and teaching together.

If you are interested in our work please look over this website or contact us at btowncooperativeplots@gmail.com. Common ways people get involved include, coming to our place for dinner, attending a meeting, or volunteering at one of our work parties.

Our community does not discriminate in regards to housing based on race/color, national origin, religion, sex/gender, family status (i.e. having children, not having children, or being pregnant), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, ancestry, source of income, age, creed, personal appearance, political affiliation, HIV infection, military/veteran status, unfavorable military discharge, gender identity or expression, receiving public assistance, or being the victim of domestic abuse.

Comment: Currently we do not have housing but hope to in the near future.
