Gaia's Green Village is an eco-village in Lonedell, Missouri in its incubation stages. Set on 70 acres of wooded and open land, with a 3 acre lake, stream and spring it is a magical environment for play, work and discovery.

Once owned by Washington University in St. Louis, who built several cabins and structures for a residential educational facility.

My vision is to create an eco-community with organic & Hydroponic gardens, orchards, grapes, solar and wind power. A priority to honor and care for the land and its occupants is vital, and to be connected by a spiritual foundation of values and respect. To include an artistic group who funds their living in part by their art. There is space for a myriad of farm animals for dairy, entertainment and food. Straw bale or recycled homes will span a portion of the property and likely co-housing as well.

Clear communication and open honesty with respect for others is the key to a viable community. Gaia's Green Village is a private eco-village designed for an initial group of about 10 or more individuals or families who wish to live in harmony with Mother Nature, and to share their unique gifts in a country community setting.

The small residential area will be apart from the cabins and hub of activity. The cabins will provide a space for temporary housing for those who wish to work and be a part of an eco-community. There will be a trial period during the process of honoring the vision and being in alignment with the highest goal of integrity to the land.

The unique and structurally sound buildings have slept without care for 18 years and all need a green rehab. Those who have experience in construction and green rehab are invited to the visionary team. Experience in living in community would be an asset and knowledge of farm animals and production a blessing. I own or care for the space and when the community is formed the land and assets will be restructured.

Still forming the structure and order of the vision of the community, but the land is secure and awaiting the arrival of those in honor of its calling.

(Great to contact Laura Lynne in advance for a tour or visit as I live off site for now.)

Visitor Process: Welcome to bring a tent and all supplies necessary as if camping in the rustic woods. Limited electric available by extention cord. Guard dogs, chicken and turkeys may roam free so pets with other animal issues might be best left home.

Our community does not discriminate in regards to housing based on race/color, national origin, religion, sex/gender, family status (i.e. having children, not having children, or being pregnant), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, ancestry, source of income, age, creed, personal appearance, political affiliation, HIV infection, military/veteran status, unfavorable military discharge, gender identity or expression, receiving public assistance, or being the victim of domestic abuse.

Population Members(adults and children): 0 (2 live off site right now but an RV is on location where we stay for short intervals. Looking for a Care taker to live and work onsite in exchange for living space once rehabbed.) Non-member Residents: 0 Open to new members: Yes	Government Decision Making: By a group of elders or other leaders (Until the community is formed and a structure for the village created, all activities and decisions are overseen by Laura Lynne.) Identified Leader: Yes	Labor and Money Financial Style: Members have independent finances (The community will be self sustaining and profits from the gardens or arts may be contributed to the whole.) Open to Members with Pre-existing Debt: Yes Labor Contribution: Expected (This is a working shared community where each member will have their unique contribution to the team.) Join Fee: Yes (Until the structure is set and in the initial order in place, I am unsure what this will be, but there will likely be some sort of participation financially for the initial group.)
Land and Buildings Rural (8 - 20 miles from the closest services.) Area: 70 acres (28.3 hectares) Land Owned By: Other (Currently there is one owner, but the structure may move into a land trust or other viable system for blessing the community.) Number of Residences: 5 (There are 5 cabins to be rehabbed, 2 - 2 room with jack and jill bath and 2 - 4 room with jack and jill also and 1 - 6 room lodge with bathroom in each room.) Cohousing: No Answer (There will be some cohousing as the kitchen area will be shared unless individual build their own eco friendly homes.)	Food, etc. Percentage of Food Grown: none (The garden God or Godess has not arrived yet to set this or order, but I see that all the food will be grown on site eventually.) Share Community Meals: 2-5 times/week (Once the kitchen space is rehabbed this is the main area for cooking and will likely initiate a multitude of meals that are shared.) Dietary Choice or Restrictions: Diet is up to each individual (All eating styles honored as long as there is acceptance of one another.) Dietary Practice: Omnivorous (I see that raw foods may ultimately form the foundation of much of the diet.) Alcohol Use: Prohibited Tobacco Use: Prohibited	Social Factors Common Spiritual Practices: Yes (Honoring one another and their individual spiritual journey in highlighted. Spiritual seekers will form the foundation of the community.) Which Spiritual Traditions(s): Eclectic (integrates pieces from many religions) (Honor and accept individuals for their unique journey, pray, meditate, expand, release, heal.) Educational Style(s): (Individual needs for schooling are honored and may at some point have an educational space to share.)
