 Sharing
It’s the key concept of the Park Ridge Nonprofit Center. Sharing saves money and effort. Sharing offers opportunities that might otherwise be unobtainable. Sharing reinforces a sense of community.
Nonprofit organizations are always trying to do more with less. Sometimes we can produce great benefits if provided with a little bit more. Sharing resources stretches the donated dollar and enhances the effectiveness of labor, whether paid or volunteer.
The Park Ridge Nonprofit Center (a nonprofit corporation) seeks to strengthen our community’s thriving organizations by providing access to shared facilities and services at below-market rates, while encouraging and improving the interaction between the organizations and the community.
MISSION:
To strengthen the Park Ridge culture of service and philanthropy, through a vibrant community of nonprofit organizations sharing resources and knowledge.
VISION:
Thriving culture of nonprofit collaboration with
SHARED RESOURCES:
A collection of services and virtual resources to provide visibility and accessibility
SHARED FACILITIES:
A facility that not only provides for a continuum of space needs, improves operations, and minimizes redundancy but also for community gathering
CORE VALUES:
Nonprofit organizations play a local critical role by offering vital community, social, and health services to the families and friends of Park Ridge. The ability of nonprofits to provide these various quality services, however, depends on their ability to develop and maintain crucial infrastructure resources. They need adequate, cost effect office facilities and operating resources. During such unstable economic times, now more than ever nonprofit organizations are finding it increasingly difficult to secure and maintain quality and productive work environments – space that is stable and affordable and also enhances the mission and operations of tenant organizations. The Park Ridge Nonprofit Center responds to the immediate needs of local nonprofits and becomes the place for nonprofits to gather and grow.
