 We live on 8 beautiful acres of mixed forest and a small off-grid homesite clearing with apple, plum and cherry trees. There is also a small garden and a variety of grapes. The property is at the end of an ocean inlet north of Powell River (with road access). We would like to share the cost of the property (through coop, or other landshare title) with between 1-3 other individuals/couples - people who want to build a sense of community while living in an environmentally/politically/ and socially positive manner. We want to build modestly, using mostly local materials, and care for the land, as well as for the forests and ocean that surround us. We plan to expand the number of fruit and nut trees on the property, and gradually increase the garden and greenhouse area and production for the use of our residents and trade with others.
