Coho Canyon is a micro-community founded in 1991 and best defined as a cooperative or LLC. Located in the hills of the San Geronimo Valley in West Marin, County, California, we are in possession of two adjoining, south facing parcels neighboring 170 acres of undeveloped, natural forest.

Currently, we have three partners and are seeking at least two additional partners who are interested in owning two of the availble shares. New partners will be able to manifest their ideas suitable for their needs. It could be as simple as a tenants in common where a vegetable garden is the only thing that is shared, or the new partners could agree on sharing all kinds of facilities which might include kitchens, workshops, yurts, etc.

At this point in time what we have to offer is the land and two dwellings to get started but, unlike many other cohousing groups who already have created a well defined community, we are in the early stages and open to many ideas that the new partners envision. For more info call Alex 415-342-5215
