Peacefield Farm
We are a small intentional community located on an 80-acre rural farm, focused on environmental and agricultural sustainability. We particularly relish the spiritual, artistic, and fun-centric parts of life.
With a focus on sustainable organic gardening (permaculture), we love researching and attempting various homesteading activities. We currently grow flowers and heirloom vegetables, sell nature photography, milk goats, raise free range chickens for egggs, gather wild fruit and some greens, hunt mushrooms and are now trying our hand at wild fermentations, beekeeping, and green building (we recently ate our first pizzas from the earth oven!). Future projects include continuing work on our outdoor kitchen, building a guest house, raising mushrooms, and repairing our large wood barn
Members consist of 4 adults and two children. Currently, two adults have part-time jobs outside the farm. We are, however, attempting to become more fully self-sustainable within the next several years.
