(Searching for right location in the northeast region)
My family and I are searching for holistic, healthy and mindful individuals to start a co-housing community this fall in the North East Region (catskills, western mass, vermont, connecticut, pennsylvania). We desire to come together and start creating a safe and positive environment that will nurture, support and guide each other in their dreams and visions for a New Earth.
My partner and I, as well as my 41/2 son Isaiah are looking for individuals to harmoniously co-create a safe and loving environment that focuses on positive communication, shared living and community building. For the past six months we have been traveling and searching for other like-minded people to share this vision with and pray that we will attract those we are meant to attract.
We have our degrees in Psychology with a focus in community building and my partner has his degree in Political Science. Our focus is on youth and families, creative curriculum development and outreach for at-risk youth. I practice holistic medicine/healing (Shiatsu), as well as culinary healing arts. My partner is currently working on sustainable building projects and alternative energy. We are social entrepreneurs, advocates for love and laughter and lots of paint, music and dancing. We are writers, musicians, healers, teachers, and friends of the Earth! Our vision is to heal, guide and support our community and our Earth through cooperation, tolerance and unity.
We are respectful, energetic and spiritual individuals choosing a path of love, nurture, advocacy and creativity. While we practice prayer and meditation and have a spiritual focus, our belief is a belief in universal love and oneness, and we respect all individuals for exactly who they are, and seek to work with individuals who share this common vision, and the desire to focus on the thread that strings us all to-get-there. We are calling forth a community that seeks to eliminate the evasive, subtle violence that permeates our society and rips the social fabric of the Oneness that binds us All together, and build a community from within that honors and respects, and does NOT demand, control, enslave, oppress or spread infectious fear and pain. We have chosen to find another path of acceptance and mercy.
Our passion is truly sustainable, agricultural practices, respecting and living with the land as much as possible. In the beginning we hope to rent a house with a couple of acres of land that can be used for gardening and other projects. After forming a strong community and revenue, with desire to purchase land with the community and build sustainable, low-impact homes, as well as a community kitchen and educational facility that focuses on positive expression and creativity. But most importantly, WE need to form the community and work to-get-there to accomplish these dreams.
We are all vegetarians who love to cook, laugh and share heart-lead truth! We are quiet, yet socially active human beings, who are very serious about raising my son and other children in a positive, creative, healthy and holistic environment. We are looking for individuals from all walks of life and encourage families, single mothers/dads, or students to contact us!
If you feel that we can help to co-create a loving, strong communal environment please e-mail or call us at 732.299.6707.
Important: We do all have very bad cat allergy so it would be difficult to arrange this with those with cats, unless an outdoor space is built for the cats.
Blessings and light.
