We are a small group of followers of Jesus Christ in Garden City, MI who desire to live in community with one another for the following purposes:

1. To be a bright light on a hill that all may see. By being together in love and unity we may be a brighter light for Christ in the world. They may see our love for one another and our unity and our dedication to pleasing the Lord in all we do. They will see people who walk with God and one another in peace and harmony.

2. To interact with one another as the scriptures command. To bear one another's burdens and exhort one another daily lest we be hardened through the deceitfullness of sin. To spur one another on to good deeds. We are commanded to operate as a body, an organism which does not live by itself but each part needs the other.

What separates us from mainstream Christianity is that we believe that "without holiness no one shall see God"

We believe that the sin must stop! People must truly repent and believe the gospel to be saved. Repentance includes dying to sin through faith in Jesus.

We are not legalists. We do not bind heavy burdens to hard to bear on the weak. We do not go beyond scripture.

We do however expect all true Christians to "do all to the glory of God".

If there is anything you have questions about feel free to contact us as we may not be expressing ourselves correctly and God forbid we have no fellowship over a misunderstanding of terms.

Communal Living Plan:

We are currently living in Garden City, MI.

Families that wish to live with us would be purchasing or renting a home or apartment within the subdivision (preferably within a block or so)

We would make every effort to do everything possible together and share many meals and nights of fellowship with one another including intense outreach ministry in the local areas of which there are millions of lost folk.

If this is your hearts desire we would love to hear from you asap! Jesus is coming soon and we want to work while it is still day.

Visitor Process: If you would like to visit simply give us a call and we will set something up. You will not need a hotel as we will put you up in our home. God be with you!

Our community does not provide land or housing and is therefore not subject to fair housing laws.

Population Members(adults and children): 5 Non-member Residents: 0 Open to new members: Yes (In this land barren of true disciples of Jesus Christ we would heartily welcome all who are truly His.)	Government Decision Making: By consensus (And much Prayer) Identified Leader: Yes (Jesus Christ our Lord) Leadership Core Group: Yes (Father, Son, Holy Spirit)	Labor and Money Financial Style: Members have independent finances (We must have a heart of giving and be ready to meet the needs of others when possible.) Open to Members with Pre-existing Debt: Yes (As long as were doing all we can to get out of it and 'owe no man anything but love') Labor Contribution: Expected (We would expect members to be actively involved in the labor of the Lord in our community.) Join Fee: No (Simply everything. Forsaking all to follow Him.) Regular Fees: No (Silver and Gold have we none, but such as we do have give we unto thee. Just have a heart of giving.)
Land and Buildings Suburban (This is a neigborhood in a great location with very affordable homes. Also the location is such that all needs can be met by traveling several blocks so a car is not neccessary.)	Food, etc. Percentage of Food Grown: none Share Community Meals: 2-5 times/week (We will always celebrate the love feast /Lords supper each Sunday. Beyone that we would like to eat together as the Spirit leads.) Dietary Choice or Restrictions: Diet is up to each individual (Although diet is up to the individual we do expect members to live for the Kingdom and not their bellies.) Alcohol Use: (We do not use alcohal but neither do we see absolute prohibition in the scriptures. Whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. But know that surely no drunkard shall inherit the kingdom of God.) Tobacco Use: (Again, there is no express command against this so neither do we go beyond the scripture. But.. can you really 'smoke' to the 'glory of God'? If you can you would be asked to explain..)	Social Factors Common Spiritual Practices: Yes (Our common ground is that Christ is our head and we always seek what pleases Him. We seek to abide in him at all times and bear much fruit for the Kingdom of God) Educational Style(s): Home schooling (We would like to have the children homeschooled. By being in community we could help each other with this. Some women may be apt to teach and others may help them with other things while they teach their children. We do not want to be corrupted by the public schools.)
