On the east side at The Ridge Resort there are currently 90 Four Diamond rooms at The Lodge; 120 Luxury Suites at The Hotel; and a 13,125 sq ft organic vegetarian and vegan food facility known as The Ivy Restaurant. The Ridge is ideal for your next Conference, Seminar, Corporate Event and/or Holistic Retreat.
The community has 200 lots ranging from 1 to 5 acres which will house the Suns Nest Sustainable Homes.
Heavens Nest features the Suns Nest Sustainable Home, the countries 1st fully-sustainable, Green built, Affordable home. This home produces its own energy, grows its own food, consumes 400% less water, uses 90% less energy for heating and air conditioning and is made from natural, or recycled, building materials wherever possible.
The homes are integrated with solar, wind, battery storage, organic gardens, waste water management systems and an atmospheric water production machine. The homes are mold proof; fire, earthquake, hurricane and flood resistant; requires minimal maintenance and labor; and qualify for various Federal and State Tax Credits.
The community is also home to The Heavenly Mountain Institute for Advanced Green Technologies, a 501c-3 Non-Profit Organization, headed by David Kaplan. The Institute will feature the work of World Class engineers, designers, builders, permaculturists, inventors and scientists.
