Community starting in California-- Let's decide where
Do you want to get off the rental treadmill and get a place you can call your own? How many hundreds of thousands have you paid to landlords?
And most importantly: Are you worried about how you will survive if this endless recession continues?
If you are 30 something, or 40 something, and make almost no money, you are not alone. Think: do you make at least 1500 a month between you and your spouse, and have or can get $10,000 for a down payment?
If so, write to me. I want to start a group of 10-20 university educated people that can form a legal entity, put a down together, buy land in common to build, cob, or put yurts. People are doing this all over the world succesfully. We can survive, make payments together and have our own space. There is no need to think to go back to ask parent's or unreliable friends for shelter, escape to Canada, or live wishing you were dead.
Let's stop the insanity. Let's get together and come up with a plan. Write to me and we'll start a blog, meet at the Monterey library etc. We might be able to get a place here, or in a different state.
