Eco Yoga Park
General Rodriguez, Buenos Aires,
Argentina
(easy to get by public transpot)
eco yoga park
We are an eco-village (non profit organization) located 60 km from Buenos Aires city and 10 km from General Rodriguez in an unique rural environment. The Park is settled in the heart of the argentinian pampas; the area is very green, we are surrounded by fields, with incredible views of sunrises and sunsets, the atmosphere here is relaxed and friendly.
Our Volunteer program is specially designed for those who want to experience an eco friendly way of life; you can take part in sustainable activities, such as organic farming, eco building, vegetarian cooking, etc., while at the same time experiencing the quietness and harmony afforded by yoga and meditation.
Volunteers work for 4 to 5 hours a day. in the afternoon they are free to take part in the Park´s activities (hatha yoga, meditation with tibetan bells, music theraphy with oriental instruments, pranayama programme, movies, etc.), or simply relax, read a book, or take a walk through the surrounding rural enviroment.
All around the year, volunteers from all over the world come to the Park to discover their skills, get in contact with mother earth, help us improve our local community, get to know new people, learn Spanish and enjoy nature and the experience of living in our community.
Please note that we request our visitors and volunteers to abstain from intoxicants and extramarital relationships to preserve the sanctity of the project
The Park is also a Yoga Ashram, every day you can take part in hatha yoga classes that enables you to harmonize mind, body and spirit, you are also invited to practice meditation with oriental instruments to help you connect with your inner self, and learn about the most ancient Indian teachings in our classes on Vedic philosophy.
The Park has several comfortable rooms (singles, doubles or triples) available in different cabins, blankets and sheets are provided, there is access to hot water and common rooms. We also have our own organic lacto-vegetarian/vegan organic restaurant, with an excellent and tasteful menue of Latinoamerican and Indian dishes. The volunteer program includes full board (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner).
The cost of the program is USD 15 per day for a stay of less than 2 weeks to cover accomodation, for stay longer than 2 weeks the cost is USD 12 per day. If you wish to stay longer a discount can be negotiated. There's no minimum stay, but we advice that you stay for at least a week to get the most out of the program.
