Micah Village
Veguita (Outthere), New Mexico,
United States
Micah Village is located in central New Mexico. It is about 7 miles east of Interstate 25 exit 175,just south of hwy 60. It has beautiful views of 6 mountain ranges 11-80 miles away from us. (Mount Taylor, Sandia, Manzanos, Los Pinos, Magdelenas, and the Ladrones). Micah is approximately 50 miles south of Albuquerque and 25 miles north of Socorro (help) NM.
The philosophy here is that people should be able to be in control of their own being without preventing others from being in control of themselves. This is true as long as everyone works on themselves and has respect for others.
We have no rooms openbut feel free to contact us anyway WE provide rooms for people who would like to become residents of the community. We welcome residents who have RV's and have 4 spaces in development. Once a part of Micah Village you can build a temporary or permanent place on the land. Permanent buildings remain with the land, Temporary housing can be removed. We have phones, some food (some shared meals). We have satellite internet (Wifi) and 4 satellite (DISH)tv's. This is a loosely knit community. We understand that all people are not on the same page all the time.
LCSI our corp., is a non profit org and we love receiving donations to help keep us going.
Our hope is to live in peace and harmony with nature and others. We'll be visiting places of nature nearby for those who like hiking etc. Some of us walk each day.
We are located on a dirt road, just one block south of Hwy 60 (Outthere NM). It rarely snows here. The area is very rural with few trees, but clear views for miles. Mild, sunny, dry climate year-round. We do have some shade from the NM Sunny days, however it would be nice to add more. Our hope is to develop a 6 (permanent) space RV PARK for residents, and an RV park for the public. Contact us about Tent spaces. We can park any size RV.
Micah Village works on the principle of each adult should know what needs to be done. (see Rousseau) We believe that if each person does what he/she knows is best life will be easy for all
