 This is a cooperative house that is currently forming. A single family home, 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, has been identified. The house will be rented, with all adults on the lease (1 year). Three bedrooms are taken and two are available immediately. Rent will be $550 to $1500 per month depending on the number of bedrooms rented and negotiations with the landlord. The final number of members is likely to be 5 or 6.
All the occupants share the common areas and bathrooms, and members have their own bedrooms. Meals are cooked individually. We share and treat the home almost as owners, such as cleaning, keeping common areas tidy, etc. (Other aspects will be the owner’s responsibility, such as plumbing, heating, electrical systems, etc.)
The house is in the Westmoor district of Daly City (western Daly City, close to the ocean, just east of Hwy 35 (Skyline Blvd.)). The house is 1600 sq. ft., two stories. It has a large kitchen, granite counter tops, lots of counter space, two refrigerators, gas stove, washer and dryer in garage. All bedrooms have sturdy off-white carpeting.
The neighborhood is quiet and close to grocery store and restaurants.
There is parking for two cars (garage and driveway) – also street parking, no permit required
Common Areas: upstairs living room (hard wood floor), downstairs den (laminate), back yard patio, kitchen, bathrooms.
No tobacco smoking or illegal drug use. Light alcohol use ok.
