Morgandy Shire: Medieval Style Village & Religious Community
We are currently planning a new intentional community centered around an abbey with a bit of a medieval theme. Our primary focus will be on creating a community of peace, brotherhood, simplicity, and honor through sustainable living, reconnecting with nature, reconnecting with God and studying His word, and a devotion to charity and social justice.
We are looking for new members and Founders to help us in this early planning stage and fundraising and are eager to get the community started.
We are open to both singles and families of all ages and believe that there is a place and a purpose for everyone. We are seeking people who wish to live in a simpler time and who still believes in the old ideas of chivalry and nobility of spirit. We invite anyone who can share this vision with us and help to make this dream a reality.
To learn more about our philosophy and the project visit our church site at: http://CelticChurchofYahweh.org and our project site at: http://morgandyshire.webs.com where we have a forum for your questions and discussions about the community and an application form for anyone wishing to join us.
We are hoping to have raised enough funds and be far enough along in the project to purchase the land and to begin moving the first wave of villagers in by the end of the year (if not sooner) so we need all of the dedication we can find.
