There are places in the world where the soul can rest and the spirit gets free, places where we can forget our human worries and where dreams come back to challenge us. There are places where peace embraces us and softly makes a home inside of us….
Where only the sea, the coconut trees, the stars and the sun rule, where we can move away from the world so full of everything and nothing and find the truth and beauty with the simplicity and charm of nature.
Piracanga is a place like this, the ideal location for your retreat, individual or in groups. Piracanga is a residential center for Human Development and Eco village with our own school. We organize courses, workshops, spiritual weddings and events.
Group leaders can bring their own group and rent Piracanga entirely to have complete privacy. We have many facilities available like professional music system, cinema, yogamats, white board, projector with laptop, steam sauna, kayaks etc.
Individual you can enjoy a holliday of tranquility and peace with many exciting excursions to choose from. Please check our program!!

Visitor Process: OUR VISION Human civilization is involved in an expansion of awareness; a Culture is developing where Humanity, Art, Science and Spirituality are meeting and embracing one another. Piracanga would like to contribute to this process by being a Center and Eco Village where people come together to learn, live, research, experience, exchange and celebrate life. Piracanga A community that shares dreams, values and a spiritual search; at a space in nature, having sustainable objectives, where we grow together and in cooperation, respecting individualities and celebrating diversity. Life in Communion Piracanga is a big chosen family that shares the principles of sister & brotherhood, such as fraternity, generosity, collaboration, cooperation, respect, mutual support and exchange. Each individual has a high commitment to protect and perpetuate the community, undertaking the responsibility for this and next generations. Therefore it must have a system of self-management, establishing a balance between autonomy and self responsibility of everyone. It is important to create awareness for a division of work, so that there is no exploitation or sobrecarga. Each one uses his/ her talents to put at the service of all, sharing knowledge, experiences, work and friendship. This community practices tolerance to individualities and respects the individual space and freedom. We live in communion and we learn one from another, celebrating the diversity of our places of origin, race and ethnicity, age, gender, language, among others. At the same time, there is a always a respect towards collective decisions and agreements. Spiritual Life There is a clear intention in awakening consciousness, connecting to spirit, living spirituality in the day-to-day, with honesty, integrity, coherence, simplicity, empathy, harmony, trust, freedom, union, passion and love. There is a need for a mental state that facilitates relationships and flowing with life; equanimity, openness and a non-reactive level of consciousness that allows us to relate as beings of light that we are and not as mere personalities and egos. We receive with humility and joy everything that the divinity offers us every day and we are grateful everyday for the blessing that is to be here, valuing consciously the sisterhood and brotherhood that unites us and the light that brought us to strengthen this community, as well as all the dreams and realities that shape our village: seeking the collective good and the joy of living in harmony and communion. Social Commitment Contribute to a new and conscious world, create a space to nourish our service to the world, communicating and integrating the community around us and all who work in service to the community with respect, dignity and equality. Reflect our commitment with social transformation and bring opportunities for growth and fulfillment to residents of local communities. Environmental Commitment Love and respect our environment, learn from Nature, its fauna and flora, preserving and stimulating its abundance. Minimize the use of consumption and resources; protect animals; looking after our own residue, looking after and protecting our earth as our creative mother and facilitator, and gaining awareness of the importance of the sacred resource of water , using products and processes that are in line with an ecological and sustainable philosophy. A commitment to make this place an oasis in the Planet of awareness and respect, knowing that we are only passersby in this world that we need to preserve, keep and better for the future generations that will come. Loving communication Practice a form of communication that is direct, open, honest, transparent, without triangulations, using dialogue always as a conflict solver (and bilingual): Speaking: in a non-violent way, bringing our truth in a constructive and non-reactive way, with humility and sensibility, and also without making judgments or assumptions, with a positive intention, making this a secure place where we can feel, think and express ourselves without fear and without masks, knowing always that our freedom ends where the other person's freedom begins; Listening: with an active ear, empathetically (with the needs and circumstances of others), with openness to the new and to different perspectives, knowing how to accept criticism in a loving way, as a tool for growth (and asking open questions when we don't understand what the other person is saying). A communication that is surrounded by a strong commitment with empathy and a respect for those who think differently and in the knowledge that differences strengthen our vision, expand our awareness, and to make this place a place richer in world perspectives.
