The site is set in a beautiful natural environment a few hundred metres from the small village of Montolieu which has kindergarten and primary schools, shops, chemist, bakery, restaurants.

The village of roughly 750 inhabitants is 18 Km from Carcassonne, famous for it double walled medieval city and the Canal du Midi.

Montolieu is situated in South-West France, between Toulouse and Narbonne in the foothills of the Black Mountain, overlooking the Pyrenees across the Lauragais plain.
