Christian Ecovillage-Mid-Atlantic Region
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania,
United States
We are a small family and some friends seeking to build a community of like-minded believers. In a world of selfishness and warped views of Christ's love, we seek to be a beacon on a hill. We don't claim to have all the answers, just a desire to have hearts after God's.
We would like to bring together several families, singles, and folks of all ages to be the body of Christ in a tangible way. We would like to live and work together in a rural setting where we can have land but not be too far removed from society. We want to be a demonstration of Christ's love in a community setting. Showing the outside world what we feel is a better way.
We do not desire to cut ourselves off. We have several ideas for reaching out and drawing others into the community to see how we function in love. We would be a community serving others and serving each other in the spirit of Christ.
Part of serving others is taking care of the planet that we all share. We believe that God calls us to environmental stewardship.
Acts 2:42, Acts 4:32, John 13:35 and Romans 12:9-21
