Northwind Farm
I'm on a spiritual path, and agraian always. Currently on a 10 acre old farmstead in North East Nebraska, that needs some tlc, but offers great garden spaces, excellent buildings, and mature as well as young fruit trees. I'm looking for a couple, or one or two? individuals who want to share in the work, the rewards, the responsibilities, be a partner in this. I have dairy goats, dual purpose sheep, angora rabbits, chickens, and I spin, knit, crochet, embroider, weave, cook, sew, and so much more. More than 30 years experience in any of the above, some of them 50+ years of experience.
I try to raise what I eat, make what I use, and recycle as much as I'm able. Love to do trash to treasure things! I do eat meat, we do raise some of our own meats. I have dogs and cats in the house, and the accepted applicant(s) would have a guest bedroom in the house until which time the guest cabin can be refitted or suitable other houseing is available.
Please don't reply unless you all ready can offer carpentry and other life skills. I will be doing back ground checks, and credit checks, but if you're a clean living person, you have nothing to be concerned about.
I'm willing to share what I know, and what I have, with the right applicants.
You will get first rights to breeding stock, your own profits of things made and sold by you, and a great neighborhood, and good company.
I do ask that you also share not only your experience and work, but also some of the income towards mortgage, utilities, etc.
My spiritual path is enlightenment, a understanding of Life from the big picture, as well as the small.
