Our vision for an Intentional Community is a little different than our counterparts around the world.
I often hear people wonder what their purpose in life is. And I discovered that whatever you LOVE TO DO is most likely what your Life Purpose IS. We would like to help you attain or at least fine tune your Dream Life. Be an entrepreneur... start an organization... ??? We can help you restructure your life and lifestyle into a more self-sustainable way of living (whether it is Independent Living, or a little help and encouragement with thought-planning and self-resourcefulness on innovative ideas that are just out of your reach, or finding out who to contact for moving forward on your life goals...). We realize that no one person can know everything or “do it all” by themselves: and that’s where our Intentional Community Cooperative can assist you with the growing movement of “Barter Economics”.
Our goal for Stone Ages Cooperative is to become an informational resource and training center for people who wish for a more fulfilling lifestyle than the “work-to-live” rat race of mainstream society. We are inviting you to move into the local area and become a part of the local economy: A rebuilding of the ideology of “People Helping People”.
We are offering: A temporary ‘camp-ground’ for skilled people willing to put ‘sweat-equity’ into building the training center while they secure their own property in the local area community. (90 days with the possibility of an extension :tbd)
The training center will be available for hands-on learning projects as well as an extensive viewing library for a variety of topics on self-sustainable living.
Our strategy is to swap information resources, community support, and hands-on training in the components of self-sustainability in exchange for cooperative labor and/or your knowledge of skills we lack. What can you add to the Community? What information or skills do you need from us?
We are currently not able to sponsor anyone, but if you can bring your own supplies and tent and ideas, we can discuss what the possibilities might be. We plan to have some rooms available for the on-site seminars, but we need to get them built first. We will do all we can to help you think outside-the-box.
This is not a hand-out, but we will give you a hand-up.
