Franciscans of the Sacred Heart of Christ - TOR
Dallas, Texas,
United States
Dallas, Texas
The Franciscans of the Sacred Heart of Christ - TOR is composed of individuals called to follow in the footsteps of Jesus through the example of Saint Francis of Assisi. Members of the FSHC have a unique vocation as Franciscans in that many of us live and work in the community just as you do! In our daily lives and works, we live as Franciscans and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our actions and interactions.
Though most of our members do not live in community, they are not alone! They join in community gatherings, they share in fellowship, and most importantly, hold one another in prayer. Other members are working to establish community houses in the traditional model of religious life.
If you feel that you would like to explore what it is to walk in the footsteps of Saints Francis and Claire but may wish to do this as a lay person, our community warmly welcomes you as we have both ordained clergy and non-ordained Sisters and Brothers as part of our community - yet we are simply equals sharing in the ecclesial fellowship with each other.
May the Lord give you peace,
The Rt. Rev. William Conner, DD, OSF
Minister Provincial
Together we are walking with and celebrating the spirit of St. Francis on a journey of worship, service, fellowship and peace.
