 Noosa Forest Retreat is a developing shared rural grass roots property/ co-op nestled amongst the nuturing foothills of Mothar Mountain situated in; the subtropical, Noosa hinterland, Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia.
Land Comprising 62 lush forsted north facing acres with fertile soil and abundant water backing onto thousands of acres of forestry and national park. Ideal for food production, one of the main shared values.
There is a number of simple houses situated on the property offering various accomodation options, short to long term for holiday retreat or residency. Entry is normally via the main farm house set up as a share or co-house. There is currently a unique position offering Free accommodation with full services to the right person with a horticulture or permaculture qualification for work exchange helping develop food systems. The whole site is registered land for Wildlife Protection and is Organic.
Primary shared values/activities are the adventure of reclaiming responsability for personal food production and mindful healthy supportive living or Sangha. A required entry agreement is to respect individual differences and take solution based responsability for challenges and projects.
The property is affiliated with www.beachhealthretreat.com wich offers a number of yoga, organic eco-systemic farming and personal detox/purification/retreat programs, as well as some paid work to retreat residents.

Thankyou for your relaxed hospitality I enjoyed a prolonged regenerative stay at Noosa
Forest Reteat enjoying helping with the developing organic food gardens as part of a part work exchange arrangement. You guys have an amazing spot, lush, subtropical and close to Noosa surf beaches. Good luck with the future
