| a 21 acre, community family farm, located in what was rural suburban Louisville, Kentucky. The county has been overrun by developers and subdivisions, because we have lots of churchs and good public and private schools This is good for families but not good for rural, peace loving environments. We have 10 dogs, Two Bengal cats, (decended from Asian Leopards,_ Three sons, a daughter, a grandson, a granddaughter and four significant others all of who have an interest in the farm. (It is strictly a family enterprize and not now never to be developed)s two horses, a ground hog, dozens of squirrels and rabbits, and 14 deer two of which are little Bambi's and we intend to keep it that way
Spring Glenn i s notable in being featured in the "little Colonel" books which were astoundingly popular in the early twenthieth century by the Author, Annie Fellows Johnson. Also, world famous photographer Kate Matthews
had relatives who occupied "Spring GLenn" or Peace Farm.
The farm was featured as the home of an eccentric professor, and great descripion has been given to the "Guest House" which can be viewed as "Spring Glenn" on page three of Google. The house is in desparate need of resoration but one of the kids is going to move into it and restore it lovingly just like it was when his granpa was alive.
The farm is owned in trust and is passed down along matriarchal lines from daughter to granddaughter to great granddaugher and her decendents. An interesting and evolved trust was developed out west where the knowledge of such things is intense. This was done to insure the smooth transition and to discourage any tax assessors or developers from harmful interests.
