So I want to build a community. The thing is; I'm actually serious about it. See everything I drive for an accomplish right now is towards the end of creating this beautiful idea I have. It's an idea and not one generally grounded in what mass society would call reality- I want to create a working renaissance village. Not something with dirt floors and no plumbing...I am mildly addicted to my base comforts. This would more lean towards a fantasy influenced tolkien meets ye olde english village look. Self sufficient- raise an plant everything needed for consumption an sale by the village. The village would be separated into four sections with each section individually influenced by the culture assigned towards it. Norse- Celtic- Arabian- Oriental/ with the architecture, clothing, food sold an goods sold particular to that culture. A working jousting arena- horse drawn sleigh rides in winter an SCA events an hosted meets scheduled for spring through fall...so many thoughts an ideas about where this can go. Theme weddings and festivals...I would be amazed if some of my inner fire doesn't catch on lol; any an all constructive criticism and input welcome! If anyone wants in on this project contact me at winter_society@hotmail.com, oh an my name is Fenn
