Esperanza de Sol de Finca Amanecer
Londres de Quepos,
Costa Rica
(Puntarenas Province)
Hope of the Sun at Sunrise Farms, has been a hostel/B&B since 2002. Six acres (23,851M2)are held in an LLP, we are selling 20 more memberships. Each member has a home "site" and ownership of the whole. The 6 bedroom, 3 bath, 2 kitchen community house has a yoga floor and is on the grid, with phone and WiFi. New construction will be off grid. At this time we are building 3 bamboo bungalows as rentals.
Forming a Healing Arts Community with focus on a Longevity Education Center. It is about living younger longer and our vision is: To share a "Lust for Life" while living in harmony with neighbors and Nature. This is a real community where our "Shift 2 The Gift" option can help you enjoy a simple home FREE & CLEAR, sooner through teamwork and cooperation. Community meals offer healthier diets and more free time to play in the gardens or build homes or furniture.
Daily double rooms from $40. Meals and programs additional. Inclusive, week long Healthy Vacation Retreats begin at only $500.00. Monthly rates available.
Londres is a typical Tico pueblo of 1500. Within 100 meters there's a "soda" (cafe), 2 mini-supers, full service restaurant-bar, plus parks, futbol field and local bus service. Most of the "adventure tours" sold in Quepos actually take place out here: rafting, waterfalls, horses, ATV, repelling, zip lines, and birdwatching. A nesting pair of Scarlett Macaws across the street.
We are located on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, just 10 miles East of Quepos. At 300 feet we are cooler and green than Quepos. Temperatures average between 68 and 90 degrees with 75 to 85 average.
This is the Pura Vida life for sure, disconnect from stress, NO TV, no cell phones, less time in the kitchen and this is a NO-SMOKING FACILITY. We have "High Speed" (256K LOL) WiFi.
Enjoy source water; Rio Naranjo, across the street becomes a lazy river and there is a creek on site. (40 minutes by car on a dirt road) to world famous Manuel Antonio National Park. Quepos is a typical tourist town with lots of restaurants and shops, only 20-25 minutes by car (40 by bus 6 or 7 times daily)

This place has a special energy. The outdoor shower is blissful! I feel so at peace there. Elena is very generous with her time, information and contacts. The bamboo is gorgeous and there is a swim-able creek on the property. Rustic but ready for real collaboration by motivated and visionary people. When I was there, there were 2 documentary filmmakers there making a film on food sovereignty. There were many inspiring conversations and connections made. This is a great part of the uniqueness of this place. Thank you!

Having spent a few weeks at Finca Amanecer I was surprised at the effect a simple, mainly vegetarian, diet had on my health. A skin complaint which had been troubling me for over 5 years cleared up and has not returned. Working in the community had a calming effect and a few Yoga sessions and commune with nature helped to recharge the batteries. My hostess arranged a tour of the La Fortuna area for me which was an unforgettable experience. I am looking into longer term association with the community.

A real community not just an idea on paper. At the formation stage so early members can have a real impact. If you are looking for community give it a try. Rustic and rural but with potential for so much more.

What a great place. Rural, real Costa Rica. I like the locals and the beautiful scenery.

The vision for the land is terrific. A healthy, vibrant life style in a cozy, relaxing part of the world.
