We are a group of adults some how are polyamorous and their families looking to form our own community to be financially and ecologically self-sustaining without the pressures of the community around us chastising our lifestyle. Ideally we will grow 100% of our own food, be completely energy efficient, and have our own school for the children. The way we envision it, we would for all intents and purposes have our own little town that is not greatly affected by the world outside. This in no way should imply that the members are to be cut off from the rest of the world, just that they could be if they so chose. We do not discriminate except in the case of any person(s) wishing to harm our family physically, emotionally, or financially. We are a peaceful group and wish to remain so. I said at the beginning that we are polyamorous; that does not mean we will exclude you or your family because you are not. If you respect us, we will respect you. We are looking for a site near Missoula, Montana. I know that many people in these communities are looking for nearly zero impact on the world around them. I would be happy to minimize my impact by replacing that which I take; that means before I cut down a tree, I plant two or three.
Status: still forming, looking for acrage to build on and farm

Sorry it has taken so long to reply yes this is something we are still trying to do. We now have 10 acres near Stillwater, would like to have more before we build much. We have some livestock, getting a garden in the ground and clearing trees

Is this something that is still being worked on? My family and I would love to get into something like this if we move back to Oklahoma.
