| I am new to California. I came here because I do not like what I am seeing and I am seeking a group or family that I might partner with to start a community. While I do not currently possess the land, that is the easy part. I am seeking people who agree with my outlook on things. That outlook is not radical, too raw or vegan entranced to see the reality of what could be happening to our economy and thus to the people who have not planned, and their motivation to band together and take it from those who have. I am pro-gun but not radical or militant.
Over the past ten years I was in another group in the Midwest and have learned a lot about the social dynamics of membership agreements and managing the finances of a group of 10+ families. I believe in solar power, and I desire to have a place that will be completely off the grid and defendable in the unlikely event that under some type of social breakdown the less fortunate and those who have not planned will seek out those who have more than they do. I am very knowledgeable about everything from plumbing to waste water treatment and recovery. I have many key components to setting up tractors, tools, solar equipment, and power inverters and large banks of batteries, and to prepare large amounts of dehydrated food. I also have housing and food preparation utensils accumulated over decades of preparation for the concept.
Relationships with like-minded, good down-to-earth people are what I lack.
Contact me if you have property and/or similar views and would like to be a potential caretaker of a property that we may acquire, if we can arrive at an agreement. If I were to characterize myself, I would say I am a mix of the people who are into the magazine “Mother Earth News” with a nonmilitant, practical, but realistic view of what may happen. Plan for the worst, expect the best…United we stand, divided we fall. We must preserve our way of life. Hopefully this scenario will never really be put to the test. Feel free to call me if any of this hits home. Status: Forming | Community location is placed at the center of the zip/postal code, city/state, or city/country (not based on street addresses) |
