Deep River CoHousing at Living Well Community
Franklinville, North Carolina,
United States
Deep River CoHousing is a new initiative in the larger Living Well Community. Living Well Community is an intentional neighborhood focused on health/wellness,sustainability, Community, and Honoring of the Sacred. Deep River CoHousing has two components, one based on Elder Cohousing and the other including all ages. Deep River CoHousing also has a strong motivation to be racially and ethnically diverse.
We are located in central North Carolina about 30 minutes south of Greensboro, about an hour and fifteen minutes west of Raleigh, and about an hour and a half northeast of Charlotte.
The land is extremely beautiful, with frontage on the Deep River and Sandy Creek. It also has mountain-like areas, rock outcroppings, beautiful woods, and an existing greenway/railtrail crossing the property and providing access to neighboring towns.
