Fuente Verde
Las Tumbas,
Costa Rica
Welcome to Fuente Verde, a farm near the top of diamante valley, roughly 2400 feet in elevation.
Our 60-acre organic farm is located in the mountains 3.5 hours south of San Jose.
All services, including a large hospital, are available in San Isidro, a short 20-minute drive. The beach and surfing town of Dominical is also 20 minutes from the farm. The land has a river, streams, and springs. We also have several waterfalls and swimming areas. Our most dramatic feature is a 1000’-high ridge that runs down the east side of the valley. It is covered by old-growth forest that is home to howler and white-faced monkeys. The bird population that calls this area home is world-class in its variety and abundance. Just minutes from the property are Diamante Falls, the highest in Costa Rica.
Membership in Fuente Verde includes your choice of an available home site and equal ownership of the entire farm, including all infrastructures. Memberships will be available for a total of 22 owner-neighbors. As of this writing, 12 of these memberships have already been filled, with 3 owner/member homes completed. We also have a two-story community center with volunteer housing. (See pictures)
